Synopsis

Look at Me (Comme une Image) following the story of Lolita Cassard, a 20-year-old girl who is upset because she doesn't look like girls in magazines. She would love to be considered 'beautiful' in the eyes of her father, but he barely looks at her at all!

Her father, author Etienne Cassard, also knows what it's like to be unloved. He doesn't look at other people very much, because he spends so much time looking at himself.

Another writer, Pierre Miller, is becoming disillusioned with his work as he doesn't believe he'll ever become successful. His wife, Sylvia, believes in Pierre's talent, but doubts her own abilities, until she discovers that her pupil's the daughter of her favourite author, Etienne Cassard...
